Meet Jeanyna Garcia,

A YES alum, Jeanyna graduated from Columbia Secondary School and received a BA in Environmental Studies from Amherst College in 2023. As a student from a first-generation, low-income background, Jeanyna is thrilled to empower fellow FGLI students on their college journey, and to give back to the community that has supported her so much. When she isn't editing essays, picking on her co-workers, or running the NYC IG, she can be found cuddling her spoiled cat, Alexa, practicing yoga and reading YA fiction.
