DONATE TO YOUNG EISNER SCHOLARS

For bright, ambitious students from impoverished neighborhoods, a college degree represents a clear path out of the crippling cycle of poverty. But potential is stifled by their circumstances: a lack of awareness, exposure, and opportunity due to financial, educational, and social inequality. YES prepares and empowers students at a young age to transcend those boundaries and removes the financial obstacles that would otherwise limit their success.

DID YOU KNOW?

Tuition payments and supplemental collegiate costs account for YES’ largest expense, demanding 41% of the YES budget. YES makes payments directly to universities, bookstores, and airlines to ensure every penny goes directly to academic expenses. It costs $40,000 to take a YES Scholar from the 6th grade to college graduation.

YES’ 2016 Financial Audit shows the following expense breakdown:

87% to Programming
7% to General Operations
6% to Fundraising

Additionally, each year, YES leverages over $1,000,000 in scholarships and financial aid for our Scholars in independent schools and Universities.
